Mike Behal MIKE BAHEL – OWNER/TRAINER BODY TECH FITNESS

B.S.  Fitness Management from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. TRX Suspension Trainer Certified, CPR/AED Certified. Mike specializes in personal training and is a certified ocean lifeguard and is a member of the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad and volunteers his time with his two kids Alyssa & Ryan with the Junior Lifeguard Program.  A member of Team Hops, Old Montauk Athletic Club (OMAC), Great Bonac Foot Race Committee.  Mike is knowledgeable in athletic sport specific training and is an avid mountain biker and triathlete.

Laura Kelly LAURA KELLY – MANAGER/TRAINER BODY TECH – MONTAUK

Certified Trainer through A.C.E. (American Council of Exercise) and APFA (American Professional Fitness Assn.), CPR/AED Certified. Group class instructor teaching Spinning, Yoga, Butts & Guts and Power Hour.

Laura has been with Body Tech since the opening of Body Tech Montauk in 2006.  Laura specializes in Fitness Evaluations and one-on-one training, helping her clients to achieve their fitness goals.  Laura also is an avid runner and has done the Hampton’s Marathon.

Caroline Somers - Club Operations

Caroline has been employed at Body Tech for the past 4 years.   When not working at Body Tech,  Caroline is pursuing a career as a Certified Nurses Aid at Eastern Suffolk BOCES at Brookhaven Technical Center.

Don RothDon Roth – Trainer

Certified Trainer through A.C.E (American Council of Exercise)  CPR/AED Certified Don specializes in one on one training helping clients meet their fitness goals and pushing their athletic boundries.  Don has been with Body Tech for 10 years, working at both Montauk and Amagansett locations.  He instructs strength trainging as well as biking, running and cardio kick boxing.

DAVE lYS DAVID LYS – TRAINER

B.S. Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University.

Dave specializes in post-rehabilitative functional training & weight loss as well strength and functional fitness.  “To motivate individuals you need to educate them.  When clients learn the connection between the cognitive side and physical side of exercise they will see results.  People need to know why they need to exercise and how to do it correctly.  That’s where a fitness “teacher” is needed.”

MATT RUGGIERO – TRAINER

Exercise Physiology, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Trainer, CPR.     

Matt, a member of Team Hops Racing Team, has been an independent trainer at Body Tech for over 15 years.  Matt specializes in sport specific training, and functional fitness and weight loss.

SARAH FOCARINO – TRAINER/CLUB OPERATIONS

Sarah, a member at Body Tech since 1995, has been employed at BT for the past 10 and has managed BT Amagansett during the summer months where she spends her winters in Aspen, Colorado.  Sarah specializes in strength training for women to increase muscle tone and strength and to combat the onset of osteoperosis.  She is an avid fitness enthusiast herself and when not running she enjoys snowboarding in the winter.
