Special EventsJimmy Mac Valentines 4KOn Thursday December 10, Jim MacWhinnie was helping his father move an oil tank up a flight of stairs when the step beneath him gave way, trapping MacWhinnie beneath the stairwell and lacerating his liver. Since then Jim’s had multiple surgeries where part of his liver was removed. His sister Karen MacWhinnie puts it this way,” He’s the miracle man. Anybody else, they said, wouldn’t have made it”. MacWhinnie is an employee at Core Dynamics Gym in Water Mill and a triathlete. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to Jim MacWhinnie to help pay for his costly medical bills.
